ATL's patented automatic identification system technology is now recognised as the best in it's field and has been ackowledged by three awards.
1997 - First Prize in the Douglas Bomford Trust Silver Jubilee Innovation Award
ATL's herringbone parlour automatic identification system was voted the 'most innovative' agricultural development of the year. The award was presented by Dr. Mary Harris, Director General of the government sponsered Year of Engineering Success and commented 'ATL had advanced cattle recognition technology to within reach of the majority of dairy farmers'.
1999 - Millenium Product Status
ATL's automatic identification system was awarded Millenium Product status and a place in the Millenium Dome in Greenwich, London. The achievement was unique amongst dairy equipment manufacturers and its products are entitled as a result to carry the coveted 'Millenium Product' logo.
2003 - Royal Agricultural Society of England (RASE) Machinery Awards Gold Medal
The award was presented at the Royal Show at Stoneleigh in the UK for the 'advanced automatic identification system which allows greater labour efficiency, lower stress to operators and animals, greater safety and more opprotunity for stockmanship'. ATL is, so far, the only dairy equipment manufacturer to be awarded the prestigious RASE Machinery Awards Gold Medal.
