01 March 2007 - ATL Supplies NFU Dairy Board Chairman Gwyn Jones with Auto-ID and Milk Meters
NFU Dairy Board Chairman Gwyn Jones has chosen to upgrade his exsiting 20 / 40 herringbone parlour in West Sussex, by installing ATL's In-Stall Auto ID and ATL Micro Milk Meters to work along side his existing ATL Pegasus Sorting Gate.
Individual milk yield information can now be recorded for each cow at every milking, for the entire 750 cow herd. Automatic Cluster Removers have also been installed. This will ensure each cow will be milked for the correct duration, thus reducing instances of mastitis caused by overmilking and teat end damage.
